Besides being a leading businessman, he is member of Karnataka VAT Advisory Board, regional Advisory Committee of Service Tax, Central Excise & Dept. of Revenue, Member of Directorate of Urban Land Transport, Managing Committee member of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI). Apart from these he is an active social worker, who has been past president & Secretary of several trade & welfare associations and trustee of temples.
