Gear Pumps Oil Pumps

Gear Pumps, and essential for pumping of viscous liquids (upto 100000 SSU) with pressure. Available in CI and SS material of construction, with or without flange ends. These pumps can be used for pumping of liquids with high temperature and can be provided with steam jacketing arrangement. They are one of the most common types of pumps for hydraulic fluid power applications, and are used only where liquids are having inherent lubricating property.
This is because of their simplicity, reliability, and very high power ratings. These pumps are suitable for pumping of all types of oils, grease, printing ink, Molasses, latex, coal tar, starch, dyes, Bitumen, Bleaches, Glycerin, Vinegar, Liquor, glues, petroleum products, soaps etc. Two types of gear pumps are available : external and internal.
External gear pump are used where low pressure is desired and internal gear pumps are used where higher pressure are desired. Internal gear pumps perform better at lower speeds and with higher viscosity fluids than external gear pumps. They are mainly used for oil fire / Hydraulic services.
Apart from these special gear pumps are available specially for pumping of Molasses and these are most suited for all Distilleries and sugar factories.
