Gear Pumps

gears to pump fluids by displacement. It is one of the most commonly
using pump for the hydraulic fluid power applications.
In chemical installations gear pumps are widely used for the high viscosity fluids. There are mainly two types one is external gear pump which uses two external spur gears, and another one is internal gear pumps which uses external and internal spur gears. Gear pumps has fixed displacement which means they pump a fixed amount of fluid for each revolution. Some gear pumps are designed to work as a gear or motor pump.
